About the Resort

Coosawattee River Resort (often shortened to “CRR” or “the Coosa”) is a private, gated community in the Blue Ridge foothills of Gilmer County. The property is managed by the Coosawattee River Resort Association (CRRA), a property owners' association that maintains the roads, gates, and the community's many recreation areas.

Amenities are spread across the resort in a handful of activity hubs — an indoor recreation center, two seasonal pool areas, a conference center, river parks, a fishing pond, and a campground — all connected by the community's private road network and river frontage.
