First Fourth of July in Ellijay coming up! Where's the best spot to watch the fireworks, and is the downtown thing worth it with kids?

Downtown does vendors, a parade, and fireworks — it's on Saturday the 4th this year. Gets busy but it's a good time and very kid-friendly.

We park early near downtown and walk in. Fireworks go off at dusk. A couple of the wineries do things that weekend too if you want options.

Buckley Vineyards does a party on the 3rd if you want to stretch it across the weekend. Food trucks and music.
