Ellijay sets Nov. 2 meeting for budget adoption and millage rate
Ellijay has posted its 2027 budget schedule, with a tentative Nov. 2 council meeting set to adopt the budget and set the millage rate at City Hall, 197 North Main Street.
Ellijay residents following next year’s budget process have two dates to note: the council was set to hear the 2027 operating budget proposal and hold a public hearing on Oct. 26, and the city says budget adoption is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 197 North Main Street. The same notice says the millage rate will be set at that Nov. 2 special-called meeting. The city also says the budget proposal will be available for review at City Hall after the Oct. 26 meeting and on the city website. [f4,f6]
